Green Burial StonesS

Green burial is the act of interring a loved one's whole body in a manner that does not inhibit the decomposition process but allows the loved one's body to recycle naturally.  There are a handful of local cemeteries that have dedicated space for green burials, such as Cedar Hill Cemetery, Seven Stones Cemetery and Evergreen Memorial Park.  If interested in green burial we encourage you to speak with cemetery personnel to learn more.

• Carrier (casket) is made of natural biodegradable materials
• No use of outer burial containers (vault)
• Possibility for non traditional headstones
• Some cemeteries will allow for hand lowering of the carrier
